Kaush Arha

Kaush Arha was a senior non-resident researcher at the Atlantic Council's Global China Hub and a visiting scholar at the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue. Previously at USAID, he was responsible for global strategy to counter malign activities of US rivals and co-directed the operationalization of the US national security strategy in development assistance. Arha also worked at the US Embassy in Kabul, coordinating activities related to the first phase of the Transition Strategy and US agricultural assistance. He has experience as deputy assistant secretary and deputy attorney general at the US Department of the Interior. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley and a juris doctorate from Stanford University.
