Dr Łukasz Lewkowicz is an assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science and Administration at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. His research focuses on Polish-Slovak relations, Slovakia's foreign policy, cross-border cooperation, and the functioning of the Visegrad Group and the Three Seas Initiative. He is the author of monographs such as “Euroregions on the Polish-Slovak Border: Genesis and Functioning” and “The Russian Federation in the Internal and Foreign Policy of the Slovak Republic (1993–2020)”. Dr. Lewkowicz serves as a senior analyst in the Visegrad Group Team at the Institute of Central Europe and collaborates with the Regional Center for International Debate in Lublin. He has received numerous academic awards, including scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education, and actively promotes UMCS internationally.
